A new and exciting venue for 2009, is planned for the DeVere Slaley Hall
complex, set in 1000 acres of beautiful Northumbrian Forest and Moorland.
It has two 18 hole Championship Courses, a first class hotel with excellent
leisure facilities, and a driving range and practice area.
The Hunting Championship Course , designed by Dave Thomas, has hosted
European Tour Events on a number of occaisions. Measuring 7073 yards from
the Championship tees, the course incorporates forest, parkland and moorland
with an abundance of lakes and streams. It is noted for its spectacular fairways,
tree lined avenues and rhododendrons.
The Priestman Course, designed by Neil Coles, is of equal length and standard
as the Hunting Course. It has fantastic views over the Tyne Valley and provides a testing but enjoyable game for golfers of all levels.
At the Banquet we have Jed Stone to entertain us, Jed is a Premier League
Comedian, and in great demand for Sports Dinners and Golf Days, his CV is
most impressive, look him up on Google.
