THE 65TH CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE SHOE, LEATHER & ALLIED TRADES
KILLARNEY GOLF & FISHING CLUB, EIRE
JUNE 16TH, 17TH, & 18TH, 2010.
In 2010 we return once again to County Kerry in Ireland, and the recently upgraded Killarney Golf & Fishing Club. The site is set
amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery in Europe, on the edge of Loch Leane, with views of the Mac Gillicuddy Reeks
mountain range.
We will be playing the revamped Killeen Course, and Mohoney's Point, both adjacent to the refurbished clubhouse. The month following our
Championship the PGA Irish Open will be played on the Killeen Course, so we hope to find it in first class condition.
Visitors and Guests are most welcome in the Men's Championship and the Ladies Championship, one guest or visitor can play with their
invitee, or three can play together, but within the main championship field, not at the back of the field.
More details will be published and circulated in January. The total cost for the Championship and the Banquet is £195 or 220 Euros per
person, this includes the Entry Fee and the Charity donation.
The headquarters Hotel will be the Castlerosse Hotel, next to the Club, and they are holding rooms at very competitive rates until April 30th.
2010. Reservations can be made by telephone or email, ( not via their website ), quoting the Shoe Trades Golf Championship. Room costs
are 55 Euro, per person sharing, including breakfast and VAT, per night. Single occupancy is 25 Euro per night. These rates are on the 16th.
17th and 18th June, additional nights are 50 Euro per person including breakfast and the same single supplement of 25 Euros.
