Each year the profits from the International Golf Championship of the Shoe, Leather and Allied Trades are donated to the main Trade Charities.

The Leather & Hide Trade's Benevolent Institution
In 2008 a total of £13,035 was donated to these two charities, bringing the total
distributed since 1946 to £360,000.
2009 will see the donations of £14,750.
